Rain Drop

I’ve been lying awake in bed at night a lot lately, thinking about pretty much everything.  Last night, some of these thoughts came together in the form of the following poem:

———————————————————–

Falling

Falling

Eternity to the ground

Sitting

Waiting

Purpose all gone

Had it ever been?

Suddenly

Rising

Sun from behind cloud

Lifting

Drifting

Cycle starts again

rain-drop
